2026 Summer Camp
The Beehive Forensics Institute is committed to offering high-quality forensics education at an affordable price as a means to expand access to a debate camp experience for students who might otherwise be excluded by the escalating costs of "national institutes." Consistent with this commitment, we have elected to offer only a one-week commuter option in the Summer of 2026. The realities of escalating costs related to facilities and staffing would require increasing costs to the exclusion of the students that are at the center of the BFI's mission. We appreciate your support for the last decade of the BFI and look forward to serving your students this summer.
2026 Camp Scholarship Application
The John R. Park Debate Society is committed to expanding access to high-level debate opportunities by providing financial assistance to 1–2 Utah high school students each year to attend the BFI (Beehive Forensics Institute).This scholarship is available in 2026 and pending budget in 2027.
This application is intended to help us understand both your interest in attending the institute and your financial need. Please complete all sections of the form thoroughly and thoughtfully. Strong applications will provide specific information about your debate experience, your goals for attending BFI, and the financial circumstances that make assistance necessary.
Applications will be reviewed by the camp directors, and awards will be determined primarily on demonstrated financial need, with additional consideration given to commitment to forensics and benefit to others on your team.
Deadline: All applications must be submitted by May 25 at 11:59 PM (MST). Late or incomplete applications may not be considered.
